It was a keenly contested debate between schools and four
schools emerged victorious out of eight schools paired in twos. This event was moderated by the chairman of the
debate committee, Mr. Lawrence Abuke Oyovwikimo. The organization was superb;
hall decoration was fantastic, and the ambiance was cozy for all spectators but
not for the contestants. The contestants were somewhat tense due to the fact
that all schools came prepared and only one school in a pair would qualify, it
was a knockout stage. and this success was achieved by a collective effort of all that GCU C'9 members that supported the show especially members
of the debate committee.
